Salary: 1300 - 1800 EUR/month gross (before tax) based on your competencies, skills, and experience.

Schedule: 1 FTE (40 hours/week)

What you'll be doing

You will be responsible for supporting the Accounts Payable (AP) function by handling manual and administrative tasks that are essential to maintaining smooth financial operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys structured work, has a keen eye for detail, and thrives in a fast-paced environment.

How you'll spend your day

  • Processing incoming invoices and ensuring they are properly routed through internal workflows.
  • Managing AP-related email communications, including archiving, responding to inquiries, and sending out invoices.
  • Verifying payment statuses, investigating reasons for delayed or missing payments, and ensuring all necessary documentation is in order.
  • Performing general administrative support related to AP documentation and records.
  • Assisting in clearing tasks and helping the team stay on top of daily operations.
  • Supporting senior finance associates with various AP-related duties.
  • Maintaining accuracy and attention to detail in all tasks.

You'll be successful if you have

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, or similar (can be a student).
  • Good communication skills – fluency in written and spoken English is essential.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic understanding of accounting principles and AP processes.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A proactive mindset and willingness to help resolve operational bottlenecks.

Interview process

As part of the first interview, candidates will be asked to demonstrate their financial knowledge through a few targeted questions and a short verbal task. The task is designed to assess your understanding of bookkeeping theory and your ability to apply core accounting principles in practical scenarios.
