Salary: 1700 - 2100 EUR/month gross (before tax) based on your skills and experience.

Schedule: 1 FTE (40 hours/week)

Location: Lithuania (hybrid). Since our company HQ is located in Vilnius and we value fostering a strong team culture, candidates located in Vilnius district are expected to work on-site 4 days per week (Friday optional) during the trial period to build stronger connections and collaboration within the team.

What you'll be doing

Baltic Assist is looking for a detail-oriented EDI Specialist to join our team and support one of our clients in the Scandinavian retail distribution sector. In this role, you will maintain EDI master data, monitor daily EDI traffic, support error handling, and help onboard new trading partners. If you're structured, tech-friendly, and enjoy keeping systems running smoothly, this position is for you.

How you'll spend your day

  • Maintain EDI-related master data, including customer, item, and translation lookup tables.
  • Monitor daily EDI traffic, review inbound/outbound documents, and follow up with internal teams or customers when issues occur.
  • Perform simple error handling, check logs, and run scheduled EDI process checks.
  • Handle cross-dock order data: export from ERP, work with files in Excel, run scripts, and manage data through the True Commerce EDI module.
  • Set up new trading partners, configure documents, and test inbound/outbound EDI messages during onboarding.
  • Communicate with sales, finance, and EDI/VAN partners on operational topics as needed.

You'll be successful if you have  

  • Experience in EDI operations, data management, or similar roles is an advantage.
  • Basic ERP knowledge (NetSuite is a plus).
  • Good Excel skills.
  • Ability to work independently, manage recurring tasks, and maintain accuracy.
  • Comfortable communicating with internal teams (sales, finance) and external EDI/VAN partners.
  • Strong attention to detail and structured work style.
  • Tech-savvy mindset.
  • Fluent English skills.
