Schedule: 20-40 hours per week (0,5 FTE, 0,75 FTE or 1 FTE)

What you'll be doing

This internship is a unique opportunity for aspiring finance specialists to explore the world of financial management and gain hands-on experience in a dynamic business environment. You’ll work alongside experienced professionals, receive guidance from a dedicated mentor, and learn through real-life examples and practical tasks. From day one, you’ll be treated as a full member of the team, actively participating in daily operations and experiencing the day-to-day life of our organization and its culture. During the internship, you will be introduced to and trained in various areas of accounting, including:

  • Primary bookkeeping tasks such as recording invoices, bank transactions, and payments.
  • Collecting and analysing financial administrative data from multiple sources and entering it into dedicated systems to ensure that accounting information is complete, accurate, and timely.
  • Reconciliations of bank accounts, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
  • Preparation of periodic reports and their contents.
  • Other accounting and administrative tasks.

You will see what communication with clients looks like in actual business situations and be expected to get involved & provide hands-on assistance appropriate for your competence level. 

You'll be successful if you have

  • Are currently pursuing or have completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics, Mathematics, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong communication skills, with fluency in both written and spoken English.
  • Basic knowledge of accounting principles.
  • Analytical and critical thinking abilities.
  • A collaborative mindset and the ability to work effectively in a team.
  • Independent thinking and a proactive attitude.

Interview process

As part of the first interview, candidates will be asked to demonstrate their financial knowledge through a few targeted questions and a short verbal task. The task is designed to assess your understanding of bookkeeping theory and your ability to apply core accounting principles in practical scenarios.
