We are Baltic Assist, an outsourcing company specialising in innovative remote career solutions. We provide exciting opportunities on a global level, fostering long-term cooperation between top talent and our partners. By cultivating a desirable environment, our people are empowered to excel and engage with a community of diverse professionals. With a commitment to efficiency and innovation, Baltic Assist aims to be the go-to choice for seeking rewarding careers.

What you'll be doing

This is a paid internship designed for students and early-career professionals looking to gain their first work experience in IT administration and support. It's ideal if you're eager to learn how IT works in a business environment, get familiar with real work processes, and build practical technical and organisational skills, while picking up genuine infrastructure experience, a front-row seat to how workplace collaboration and project workflows actually function, and (if you want to take it further) a path into automation and internal tool development.

If the fit is right, this internship could turn into a long-term opportunity with us!

The duration of the internship is a negotiable aspect between 3 and 6 calendar months.

How you'll spend your day

  • Resolving IT support tickets - computer troubleshooting and basic technical issues.
  • Handling hardware logistics: receiving, shipping, and preparing equipment.
  • Assisting with onboarding new employees: setting up accounts, devices, and tools.
  • Managing simple administrative tasks, such as assigning projects and users in internal systems (e.g., UKU).
  • Helping maintain and prepare IT equipment and internal systems.

Beyond the daily work, there's an open door into our automation and optimisation projects - still early-stage, so the scope will evolve, but you'll have room to join brainstorming and planning sessions, explore process-improvement ideas, and help build or test internal tools, depending on your interests and skills. This part is optional and shaped by your own initiative, but it's a real chance to get into more advanced territory.

What we're looking for

  • Excellent English communication skills (written & spoken).
  • Quick thinker with the ability to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • No prior professional IT experience required - this is built as a genuine first step.
  • Curiosity about how IT operations, business processes, and automation actually work.
  • A proactive, self-motivated approach to learning both the technical and organisational sides of the role.
  • Comfort working as part of a team and managing your own time.

What we offer

  • Flexible hours, hybrid work model.
  • Open and friendly company culture.
  • Friendly, supportive and motivated team to work with.
  • Dynamic and modern office environment.
  • Freedom to share and implement your ideas.
