Lounge Manager

Vilnius, Lithuania

Salary: 3200-5000 EUR/month gross (before tax) based on your skills and experience.

Location: Vilnius Airport, Lithuania (on‑site role due to operational requirements)

Schedule: 1 FTE (40 hours/week)

We are Baltic Assist - a company committed to providing high‑value talent solutions and operational excellence for global clients. We partner with industry leaders to build strong, motivated teams and create meaningful career opportunities across various sectors.

We’re seeking a Lounge Manager to oversee day‑to‑day operations at the Aspire Lounge in Vilnius Airport. In this role, you will lead both customer service and kitchen teams, ensure high service standards, manage operational quality, and uphold safety and regulatory requirements within a highly controlled airport environment.

What you'll be doing

If you thrive in fast‑moving environments and enjoy tackling problems end‑to‑end, this role will suit you well. You’ll design and maintain serverless applications, integrate cloud services, and collaborate closely with the team to deliver scalable, high‑quality solutions.

How you'll spend your day

  • Leading the lounge team by example, ensuring high‑quality customer service and smooth daily operations.
  • Managing, coaching, and engaging staff, handling performance discussions, shift handovers, and internal communication.
  • Ensuring full compliance with airline safety, security, hygiene, and food safety standards.
  • Overseeing resource planning, daily staffing, overtime control, and operational adjustments when disruptions occur.
  • Monitoring KPIs, SLAs, audits, and reporting requirements, and conducting investigations into incidents, complaints, or irregularities.
  • Coordinating kitchen operations, food and beverage quality, supply ordering, cleaning, and maintenance activities.
  • Building strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including airline partners and service providers.
  • Ensuring adherence to QHSE policies, safety rules, and Code of Conduct for employees, subcontractors, and visitors.
  • Performing regular inspections, driving continuous improvement, and escalating exceptions to the Station Manager.

You'll be successful if you have

  • 5+ years of relevant experience and education in hospitality, business, operations management, or a related field.
  • Proven leadership in shift‑based, service‑driven environments such as airports, hospitality, catering, or regulated operations.
  • Strong operational abilities: resource planning, issue resolution, complaint handling, and maintaining service standards.
  • Experience working with KPIs, SLAs, audits, and operational reporting in a highly regulated setting.
  • Practical understanding of kitchen workflows, hygiene, sanitation, and food safety requirements.
  • Ability to work with multiple stakeholders under service level agreements and manage expectations professionally.
  • Solid communication skills, basic financial awareness (budget, overtime, costs), and the ability to identify and mitigate risks.
  • Resilience in high‑pressure environments and a hands‑on leadership style focused on ownership and accountability.

Additional Requirements

  • Aviation security background check - required to obtain airport access. If you don’t already have clearance, you will complete this during the recruitment process.

  • H10 food‑safety certificate - if you don’t have this permit, you will need to obtain it during the recruitment process.

What we offer

  • A stable, long‑term role with opportunity to grow within a global aviation services environment.
  • Work in an international team with exposure to airport, hospitality, and customer‑service best practices
  • A supportive environment focused on teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement
