Risk Management Specialist

Salary: 12.5 - 30 EUR/h gross (before tax) based on your skills and experience.

Location: Lithuania (remote)

Schedule: flexible, estimated up to 40 hours/month with potential to increase in the future.

What you'll be doing 

We are looking for a Risk Management Specialist to support the company’s risk management activities as part of its governance and control framework. In this role, you will provide operational risk management coverage, primarily supporting client operations and internal processes.

The position focuses on maintaining and supporting existing risk management frameworks, handling documentation, monitoring activities, and ensuring consistency in risk-related processes, rather than owning overall risk strategy or governance.

How you'll spend your day 

• Support the Enterprise-Wide Risk Assessment (EWRA) through data collection, documentation, and updates.
• Maintain and update risk registers, controls, and mitigation actions.
• Perform planned risk monitoring and control checks.
• Prepare inputs and summaries for risk reporting.
• Support ICT and operational risk reviews, including DORA-related documentation.
• Track incidents and follow up on agreed actions.
• Assist with vendor and third-party risk reviews.

You'll be successful if you have 

• 2–4 years of experience in risk management, compliance, or operational control roles.
  Hands-on experience with risk documentation, controls, and monitoring.
• Basic understanding of operational, ICT, and regulatory risk (DORA familiarity is a plus).
• Strong attention to detail and comfort working with structured processes.
• Ability to work independently within a clearly defined scope.
• Clear written communication skills.
