What you'll be doing
We are looking for a skilled IT Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team with one of the biggest players in finance in the country. You will join our client Journey Automation team and as an IT Platform Engineer you will ensure the availability, stability, and integrity of the company’s platform. Furthermore, you will monitor, maintain, evolve platform and troubleshoot problems that may arise and in addition to that, the Engineer maintains platform integrity and security.
The position is a 6-month contract with the possibility to extend it. We prioritise candidates who can join and start as soon as possible.
How you'll spend your day
- Ensure platform availability, stability, and security across various environments.
- Monitor, maintain, and evolve the platform, proactively troubleshooting any issues.
- Manage cloud infrastructure using CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
- Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes to optimize platform performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform security and scalability.
You'll be successful if you have
- 5+ years of experience in cloud technologies and platform engineering.
- Strong understanding of cloud technologies, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Proficient in at least one programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
- Previous experience with IaC tools (e.g. Terraform).
- Great problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in building or enhancing private cloud platform would be an advantage.
- Familiarity with financial services or working in a regulated environment would be an advantage.

Salary
5650 - 5950 EUR/month gross (before tax) based on your competencies, skills, and experience.
