What you'll be doing
We are looking for a skilled IT Platform Engineer to join our dynamic team with one of the biggest players in finance in the country. You will join our client Engineering Tooling team and as an IT Platform Engineer you will ensure the availability, stability, and integrity of the company’s platform. Furthermore, you will monitor, maintain, evolve platform and troubleshoot problems that may arise and in addition to that, the Engineer maintains platform integrity and security.
The position is a 6-month contract with the possibility to extend it. We prioritise candidates who can join and start as soon as possible.
How you'll spend your day
- Ensure platform availability, stability, and security – keeping everything running smoothly, 24/7.
- Manage cloud resources using AWS services and optimize DevOps processes.
- Troubleshoot platform issues and provide technical support across multiple environments.
- Automate infrastructure tasks with tools like Chef, Ansible, and others.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance platform performance and drive continuous improvement.
You'll be successful if you have
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering.
- Proven experience with CI/CD tools like Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions
- Practical familiarity with AWS public cloud resources and services
- DevOps (DevSecOps) practices and Frameworks
- Solid background in OS administration, spanning platforms such as Linux and Windows
- Coding and scripting in common languages: Golang, C#, Powershell, Bash
- Proficiency with container technologies like Docker and Kubernetes
- Proficiency in troubleshooting and resolving technical issues across test and production environments
- Proficiency in infrastructure management and automation tasks (provisioning, configuring, and maintaining servers and networking components with Chef and/or Ansible).

Salary
6600 - 7500 EUR/month gross (before tax) based on your competencies, skills, and experience.
