What you'll be doing
We are hiring several experienced Mainframe Specialists to support a global IT services provider in modernising their internal systems and assisting end clients. You’ll play a critical role in migrating from Broadcom/BMC tools to IBM mainframe tools, including DB2 and Omegamon. Your expertise will help guide internal teams in architecture, configuration, and best practices.
How you’ll spend your day
Advise and support internal teams and customers during the mainframe tool migration
Provide hands-on configuration and implementation support for IBM DB2 and Omegamon
Act as a mentor and subject matter expert for IBM mainframe architecture and tools
Collaborate with stakeholders to map system architecture and document processes
Share technical knowledge with internal teams to enable effective installations
Contribute to testing, validation, and quality assurance procedures
Participate in defining best practices and ensuring compliance across environments
You'll be successful if you have
Extensive experience working with Broadcom/BMC and IBM mainframe tools
Strong expertise in DB2 (as a system programmer or DB2-expert level) and Omegamon
Previous experience with large-scale mainframe migrations or transitions
Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Experience in mentoring or advising internal teams
Knowledge of functional testing and data validation (a plus)
Familiarity with IBM’s project management tools (a huge plus)
Proactive attitude and collaborative mindset
