Salary: 2800 - 4000 EUR gross, inclusive of all taxes except VAT, based on your skills and experience, but we are flexible to negotiate

Location: Lithuania/Poland

Schedule: 1 FTE (40 hours/week)

What you'll be doing

How you’ll spend your day

  • Contributing to the development and expansion of tax-related services within the company.
  • Designing and implementing corporate income tax and withholding tax compliance procedures.
  • Managing a portfolio of international clients, ensuring compliance with direct taxation regulations.
  • Evaluating permanent establishment risks and handling registration processes where necessary.
  • Conducting due diligence projects, advising on corporate income tax incentives, and supporting tax-neutral reorganizations.
  • Researching and interpreting local tax regulations across various jurisdictions to ensure compliance.
  • Advising companies on tax-efficient structuring, profit adjustments, and legal entity registration/liquidation matters.
  • Taking ownership of tax-related tasks, limiting reliance on external advisors while building in-house expertise.
  • Leading and collaborating with a team of professionals, driving results and continuous improvement.
  • Training and mentoring junior colleagues, overseeing their performance, and fostering professional growth.
  • Building and maintaining long-term client relationships, ensuring trust, efficiency, and continuous improvement in service delivery.

You'll be successful if you have

  • Bachelor’s degree in taxation, law, business, or a related field (Master’s degree is an advantage).
  • 3-5 years of experience in direct taxation.
  • Excellent English skills (both verbal and written).
  • Strong ability to consult and train team members on tax-related matters.
  • Analytical mindset, problem-solving attitude, and leadership skills.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills and proficiency in tax-related software.
  • Exceptional planning, time management, and organizational skills.
  • Strong client management skills with the ability to build strong interpersonal relationships.
  • Resilience to stressful situations and a desire to work in a dynamic, constantly changing environment.
